Daily Gospel (Lk 11, 29-32): At that time, people having gathered around Jesus, He began to say, This generation is an evil generation; asks for a sign, and will not be given another sign that the sign of Jonah. For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. The queen of the south shall rise in the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them: because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and here there is something greater than Solomon. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation and condemn it; because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah.
